This Privacy Policy explains how Durawalk (“Durawalk,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you visit durawalk.com, place an order, or contact us through WhatsApp, phone, email or social media (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.

Who we are

Information we collect

  • Contact & delivery details — your name, delivery address, city, phone/WhatsApp number, and email address.
  • Order information — the products, sizes, colours and quantities you view, add to cart or order; order value; and delivery/return history.
  • Payment information — because most orders are Cash on Delivery, we usually do not collect card details. If you pay online or request a refund, we or our payment/bank partners process the account or wallet details needed to complete that transaction. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Communications — messages, call notes and photos you send us via WhatsApp, phone, email or social media.
  • Device & usage data — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and interactions on the site, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Marketing data — your preferences for receiving marketing and whether you have opted in or out of WhatsApp/email/SMS updates.

How we use your information

  • To process, confirm and deliver your COD and prepaid orders, including calling or messaging you on WhatsApp to confirm the order before dispatch.
  • To handle exchanges, returns, refunds and customer-support requests.
  • To reduce failed deliveries and fraud (for example, verifying addresses and flagging high-risk or repeatedly-refused orders).
  • To send order updates and, where you have not opted out, marketing about new products and offers via WhatsApp, SMS or email.
  • To show you relevant ads on Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google and similar platforms, and to measure ad performance.
  • To improve our products, website and service, and to meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations.

Cookies, pixels & analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to run the store, remember your cart, understand traffic, and support advertising. These may include Shopify platform cookies, Google Analytics, and the Meta Pixel / Conversions API. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some may affect how the site works.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the business: with courier partners (such as PostEx, Leopards, TCS or M&P) to deliver orders and process returns; with technology providers such as Shopify and our WhatsApp/marketing tools; with payment and financial partners to take payment or remit refunds (e.g. JazzCash / Easypaisa); with advertising and analytics partners such as Meta and Google; and with law-enforcement or regulatory authorities where required by law, including under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016 (as amended).

Data retention

We keep your information only as long as needed to fulfil orders, provide support, run our business, and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, and our store is hosted on Shopify’s secure, PCI-compliant infrastructure. However, no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices & rights

  • Opt out of marketing anytime by replying STOP on WhatsApp/SMS, using the unsubscribe link in emails, or messaging us. We will still send essential order-related messages.
  • Request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by contacting us at info@durawalk.com.

Pakistan does not yet have a comprehensive data-protection statute in force (a Personal Data Protection Bill remains under consideration). We nonetheless aim to follow good-practice data standards, will honour reasonable requests, and will update this policy when new law takes effect.

International transfers

Some providers (such as Shopify, Meta and Google) store and process data on servers outside Pakistan. Where information is transferred abroad, we take reasonable steps to keep it protected consistent with this policy.

Children

The Services are intended for customers aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
